Black and White Photography is BRILLIANT.

Or at least I think so.

Black and white photography is extremely limited because everything relies on lighting and time. Also, because it lacks in color, other elements in black and white photography, such as texture and composition, will stand out. The absence of color is my favorite part; the shadows in black and white gives the photographs depth and it always add an air of romance, timelessness and mystery.

I recently did a shoot near home in a grassland area called the Bluffs. My subject was Tina Thi.

This is the beginning of a series titled "The Bluffs." Different people doing different things. Their self-portrait if you will. Please let me know what you think. Any ideas for another shoot?
